Discount Golf Balls

In the present market state of fierce competition among various golf ball- manufacturing brands like

Titleist, Callaway, Nike, Topflight, Wilson, Srixon, Precept and Volvik, discounts on purchase of golf

balls has become the order of the day. Many manufacturers more often than not try to put forward exciting

discounts on purchase of a pack of golf balls. The cost per ball in the event of purchase of a set of

golf balls (in bulk) is also lesser in comparison to that, when purchase is of a single piece. This

discount in golf balls like in other products and areas corresponds to the economic law of diminishing

marginal utility and is directed towards enticing customers to purchase in greater quantity.

Apart

from this, some manufacturers especially those who intend to gain a foothold in the golf ball market,

sometimes issue shocking price cuts on individual balls as well as on regular sized packs in order to

gain an edge over their competitors. Another common practice among the above mentioned set of

manufacturers is giving out golf balls on discounts for limited periods in order to boost sales; the

difference here lying in the fact that the price cut is temporary only for the limited offer time

period.

Discount golf balls may also refer to used golf balls. Sellers of such balls usually

recycle golf balls from the course and sell them at reduced prices, at nearly half of the original price.

These golf balls are processed using a cleaning system that allows the golf ball to retain its natural

condition. Once they are cleaned, each golf ball is inspected and subsequently graded according to its

condition. The advantage here for the customer being the availability of branded and expensive balls from

Nike, Titleist, Srixon, Wilson, Callaway and others at reduced prices. These balls make excellent

practice balls in comparison to the cheap ones generally used for the purpose. Of late, many such sellers

have taken to the Internet as a medium of their transactions, thereby enhancing ease for themselves as

well as their customers. Orders can be placed at the various websites after a good browse of the

available online catalogues.

Improve Your Game Through Golf Instruction Videos

There are many methods of golf instruction, from one-on-one training with a professional to group lessons. Golf instruction videos have many advantages over face-to-face classes or other learning methods such as books or audiotapes. You can both see and hear the instructions as you perform the task. The instructor on the video becomes your personal teacher taking you step-by-step through each skill. You can set your own pace and repeat the video over and over as needed. You can watch certain sections at any time of the day or night. If you are embarrassed about the weaknesses of your golf game, you can work on improving them in the privacy of your own home.

With thousands available you should have no problem finding the golf instruction video best for you. As with any training tool, you need to choose one that addresses your specific needs.

While some video ads make outrageous claims about its ability to improve your game, take it with a grain of salt. Look at your golf instruction video as a guide, not a guarantee. A golf instruction video will not magically transform your game. Watch the video several times, however, to make sure you have extracted all the tips and advice offered. Several small pieces of advice can add up to a big difference and big improvement.

A golf instruction video visually presents methods to improve your golf. Compare the visual examples provided with what you do yourself. Get someone to videotape your swing, putt or whatever you are working on with the video so you can see where you differ from the advice in the video. Look at posture and stance, backswing and follow through, and look for differences. It?s not easy to see and correct your faults without taking a very close look.

Consider your fitness level. You can?t take advantage of everything a golf instruction video has to offer without having muscles fit for golf. Try doing golf-specific exercises so that you can be sure that your muscles are ready to be trained for improved golf.

Ask other golfers if they have used a golf instruction video that has been helpful. While your needs may differ, you might find a different video from the same company if you get a good recommendation.

PurePoint Golf Instruction Driver Golf Slice & Driver Golf Swing Instruction

Copyright 2006 David Nevogt

I have often been asked what I think the most important part of the setup is when you're getting ready to drive a golf ball. I don?t know if there is one answer to that question.

The way I answer it is based on what I?ve observed over the past 30 years of teaching.

After you?ve addressed the golf ball, and this is not an easy thing to see, you might have to have someone watch. Or, I?ll tell you how to check for yourself.

After you?ve addressed the golf ball and you're all ready to hit, I would say that 90% of the people that struggle with the driver have their shoulders aimed way off to the left.

Now, why? It?s pretty simple. Oh, I don?t know, 80% of the golfing public has a driver golf slice. So, if you slice the golf ball, you're going to try to aim off to the side, so when it recovers and comes back around it?s in play.

Now, unfortunately, for those of you that have a driver golf slice, simply by squaring your shoulders up, that isn?t going to take away the slice. But it?s going to encourage the golf club to swing more from inside than from outside, and it will help it a lot.

You may need a grip change. But there?s no question about it, the most important part of the setup for the driver has to be the shoulders.

Make sure they're aimed parallel to your feet, knees and hips going left of the target.

Now, if you're driving the golf ball poorly and not very consistent, let me give you these two golf swing instruction pearls. They go hand in hand.

And I promise you this will help you find out if your problem with your driver is in the backswing.

For you to become a really good driver of the golf ball and consistent, the shoulders have to turn. The only way they can turn in the backswing is if you have your chin up and not down.

Most mistakes that I?ve seen with amateur golfers in their difficulties of driving the golf ball is their posture.

Their head is too far down. The only thing your shoulders can do is go up in the air. You won?t have the ability to swing the golf club around you. You won?t have the chance of your shoulders turning.

So, the best golf swing instruction I can give you is, the next time out, after you?ve addressed the golf ball, gone through your routine and you're almost ready to swing the golf club back, simply lift your chin up in the air an inch or two. And don?t forget that your shoulder should turn in the backswing.

If you have your chin up, the shoulder can turn around it. From there, you can really let it fly in the downswing.

Again, chin up, not down, promotes the shoulders turning in the backswing.

Try that the next time out and I promise you it?ll help you.

Thanks.

Is Golf School Instruction For Your?

Have you ever considered or gone to a golf school for instruction of your golf swing? You see them advertised on the television, in the golf magazines and locally in your golf shops. They are usually group instruction outing that can be a half day, a full day, or the entire weekend.

The instructors at this type of golf school work within groups, never one-on-one. That for some people is a big negative, but for other golfers who feel they don't need that intimate instruction, they don't mind it.

There are several things to consider when thinking of attending a golf instruction school.

Price

These golf schools are not cheap! They can range from a hundred dollars up to several thousand dollars. It all depends on the name behind the school, the length of the school and the teacher/student (golfer) ratio. I have heard positive feedback from golfers who took this approach, and I have heard horror stories from golfers who got no guidance, and left more frustrated than before they got there.

Location

You may be lucky to have a credible golf school in your locale, but most of the time this is not the case. If so, then you need to tack on travel, hotel and food on top of the price for the school. Unless you live in Florida, Arizona or California, you may be limited in your locale to credible golf instruction schools.

Now you have to way the pros and cons of whether it is worth your time and expense to attend one. You must first talk to some golfers who have attended this particular golf school. Get some honest feedback to give you a better feel for making a decision. If you can talk to 3 or 4 golfers, preferrably ones you know, you'll have a good idea of what to expect.

Taking this into consideration will help you make a more educated decision on what golf instruction school you want to attend.

The Art of Aiming a Golf Ball

Golf is a game that is played with a variety of different physical skills and techniques. it is also a

game that is played with the mind, your mind ultimately makes the final decisions and that tells your

motor system where and when things will happen, hopefully this happens in some sort of dignified

occurrence.

Some of the skills that the game of golf demands, and especially putting, are directly

related to the golfers peripheral vision, depth perception, binocularity, eye-hand coordination, aiming

accuracy, and visualization. These are skills that most golfers take for granted, because they are much

more basic than grip, stance, and swing mechanics.

The problem with golf is that what a player

perceives optically can be crystal clear and inaccurate at the same time. In the game of golf everything

that a player dose is directly related to what the player sees and perceives. Having to stand off to the

side of your target instead of behind it, really wrecks havoc on the players optics. Trusting what you

are seeing in golf, can be equated to being in house full of mirrors, you can very easily be fooled if

your precipitation doesn't match reality, then what you are visualizing is an illusion. When your optics

are tricked you tend to view everything a little out of whack.

However it is possible to re-educate

your optical perception. If you are taking up the game for the very first time this is an excellent place

to start. With a few simple exercises can make all the difference in the world as you start off on your

quest to perfect putting. Putting is a skill that doesn't involve a lot of mechanics, but it dose require

excellent perception.

More experienced golfer will use a spot that is a few feet in front of the

ball when they are aiming. When they place their putters behind the ball, they will aim the face of the

putter or the lines on the putter towards the spot that they have chosen that is a few feet in front of

the ball. Most player find that it is a lot easier to align the ball to a spot that is a foot or so in

front of the ball than it is to align the ball to the hole which may be several feet away
